Foothills Med Spa is proud to be the best boutique-style med spa in the Treasure Valley.
Our Beginnings
Established in 2015 and located in the heart of downtown Boise, Foothills Med Spa has quickly grown it’s clientele by offering a personal, customized experience for each individual. With an understanding that our industry can be overwhelming, especially for clients who are new to the aesthetics industry, we take pride in making sure that everyone leaves us feeling confident in our knowledge and education regarding their treatments of interest. It is our mission to provide our clients with beautiful, natural-looking results. Too often, we encounter potential patients that are afraid of looking “weird” or “unrecognizable”. At Foothills Med Spa, we specialize in the restoration and enhancement of your natural features. When you visit us, you can expect the highest level of customer service in an environment that is personable, friendly and safe.
Meet Rebekah Guy, MD
Owner / Medical Director
Dr. Guy received her medical degree at the University of South Alabama. After an internship at Baptist Hospital-Princeton, she completed a three year residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Spain Rehabilitation Hospital at the University of Alabama Birmingham, followed by additional advanced training in spinal injections at the Alabama Orthopedic Center. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Guy has always had a keen interest in health and aesthetics and recognized a need in the valley for a medical spa with hands on physician involvement. Dr. Guy is focused on bringing the latest medical technology to the practice of aesthetics to provide a higher level of care in a relaxed setting that reflects the beauty of the Treasure Valley. She enjoys being with her two daughters, shopping the markets, camping, biking or hiking in the foothills. Dr. Guy’s goal at Foothills Med Spa is to create a personalized plan for each patient that focuses on their goals and maximizes their potential while maintaining a natural look.
Meet Laura Downey
Spa Director/Licensed Aesthetician
Laura began her career in medical aesthetics over 14 years ago in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She worked for nearly 10 years at Oklahoma’s premiere medical spa under the supervision and direction of one of the top Dermatologist in the State. During that time she acquired certifications and mastered skills in laser resurfacing, Laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, micro-needling, and coolsculpting. Through her knowledge and expertise in medical aesthetics she became one of the most trusted in Oklahoma. She was voted “Best of the Best” in Oklahoma for several years before relocating to Boise and joining Foothills Med Spa. Laura is passionate about helping her clients look and feel their absolute best through result driven treatments and procedures. During her time away from the Spa she enjoys spending time with her family, vacationing, skiing, paddle boarding, and camping.
